Thanks for visiting my website. I hope you like what you see! I really really love making art and have loved it for as long as I can remember. I grew up on the central coast of California, an amazing place to live, but after graduating from the University of San Francisco and San Francisco's Academy of Art in 1992, I moved to Colorado and started working as a Freelance Graphic Designer. After marrying my husband, Michael, and having 3 kids, we decided to take on the design and construction of a 1300 sq. ft. addition to our (too small for a family of 5) home. It was a huge undertaking which ultimately led to our own construction business and further inspired me to design and build the first of many mosaic tables and stained glass windows. I have been hooked ever since to home-improvements, mosaic and stained glass art, and especially to Colorado, where the sun shines brightly nearly every day of the year. I have since continued to develop my skills in mosaic, stained glass, graphic design, mixed media assemblage and mural painting. In the summer of 2019 I built three mosaic concrete garden benches for George Williams College in Wisconsin, a mosaic flagstone patio, a mural of an enchanted forest and 23 mosaic stained glass windows for an enormous greenhouse. 2020 and the pandemic changed our world and I am still adjusting to that. My now adult children have all moved out which allows much time and space for creativity.
