Aimee has been making art for as long as she can remember. Following graduation from the University of San Francisco and San Francisco's Academy of Art in 1992, she moved to Colorado and worked as a Freelance Graphic Designer. Marriage to her husband, Michael, and a growing family led to their taking on the designing and building of a 1300 sq.ft. addition to their home, a huge undertaking which then led to their own construction business and further inspired Aimee to design and build her first of many mosaic tables and stained glass windows. She has been hooked ever since to home-improvement, mosaic and stained glass, and especially to Colorado, where the sun shines brightly nearly every day of the year. Since then she has continued to develop her skills in mosaic and stained glass, graphic design, mixed media assemblage and mural painting. Her prize winning mixed media buffalo will be hanging in the 34th Annual All Colorado Art Show in the Curtis Center in Greenwood Village from October 14th to December 26th with the opening reception on Saturday, October 14th, 2017 from 6-8 pm. She will also be showing 3 of her mosaics in the Bayaud Enterprises "Art for Work" Silent Auction at the OfficeScapes Showroom at 145 Market Street in Denver on Thursday, October 19th, 2017 from 5:30-730 pm.
